Its last stop in Milwaukee was a huge hit, so the White White Castle "Crave Mobile" is rolling back into Milwaukee to serve its famous 100 percent beef steam-grilled sliders Sept. 16-19 at The Spot 4MKE on 5th Street and Wisconsin Avenue.

The food truck’s appearance is part of The Spot 4MKE En Fuego event, sponsored by the Creative Alliance of Milwaukee. Attractions throughout the evening on Sept. 16 include "hot" flaming hula hooping and poi dancing, photo opportunities with friendly firefighters and a fire engine, a Survive Alive house and commemorative items for sale by Plaid Tuba, Inc. The event will also celebrate the new Mural Project by Reginald Baylor.

After the kick-off event, the "Crave Mobile" will remain on the site through Sept. 19, offering both lunch and dinner daily.

Hours for the "Crave Mobile" will be Wednesday from 4 to 8 p.m., Thursday and Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 5 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The vision for The Spot 4MKE, which is powered by a Southwest Airlines Heart of the Community grant, is to transform over time a forlorn city-owned surface parking lot in the heart of Downtown into a vibrant creative collision space for the entire community.
