American Euros will open up a brick and mortar shop today at 3133 N. Oakland Ave.
The cleverly named American Euros cart hit the streets of Milwaukee in July 2009, and has been going strong ever since. Starting off at the intersection of Water Street and Juneau Avenue, a hotbed for quick and easy bar-time eats, the popular food cart has made a name for themselves offering affordable – and delicious – gyros and pita sandwiches with flair.
The look of the counter-service restaurant is contemporary – with Cream City brick walls, modern art and a hallway that pays homage to the American Euros ghettoblaster, which always seemed to be pumping out old-school hip-hop and R&B classics at the cart.
The restaurant will be open from 10:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday to Thursday and 10:30 a.m. to 3 a.m. Friday and Saturday. For additional information and to view the menu, visit American Euros online.
