The new year is swiftly approaching and with it comes some culinary changes for Milwaukee Street.
Tom Wackman, owner of Eve, the nightclub at 718 N. Milwaukee St., says that 2008 will see the resurgence of the Eve's first floor kitchen, which is currently not being used.
Eve served modern American cuisine for a few years when it opened in early 2002 and went through a major interior redesign in 2004, changing the 8,000-sq.-ft. space from entirely innocent white décor to a rich scarlet.
Wackman says he's still in the licensing process, so the details of the new restaurant are few at this point. The nightclub section of the bar, he says, will remain active on the second floor.
