More cheese is always better, right? The folks at Grate Modern Mac & Cheese are counting on it.

Roaring Fork Restaurant Group opened its first Grate Modern Mac & Cheese location at N92W16125 Falls Parkway in Menomonee Falls this past August (get a peek at their offerings here). And today it announced plans for a second location at the 84South development near 84th Street and West Layton Avenue in Greenfield. The new location is expected to open in May.

Like the Menomonee Falls location, the new Grate Mac will feature a dozen gourmet macaroni and cheese entrees – including popular favorites like buffalo chicken, barbecued pork and Mexican street corn – all made in-house using Wisconsin milk, butter and cheese. Each entree is prepared to order and cooked in a Woodstone oven.

The restaurant will also feature online ordering, catering service and take-and-bake options which can be purchased and made at home.

"We’ve been overwhelmed by the positive response to our first Grate Modern Mac & Cheese in Menomonee Falls," says Abby Hansen, vice president of marketing at Roaring Fork. "We’ve received so much encouraging feedback, and we look forward to bringing our twist on traditional macaroni and cheese to a new community in southeastern Wisconsin."
