Decor

In the age of fast forward, freeze frame high technology, Milwaukee's new Hotel Metro has made its mark on Downtown by taking one giant leap back into the future. Standing sleek and proud on Mason Street, the classy art-deco design of days gone by is timeless and most inviting.

The first-class, all-suites hotel attracts guests from all over the world and the stylish bar has drawn a loyal local clientele.

Good things come from Chef Michael Engel's kitchen. His menu is driven by the season and incorporates a wealth of high quality ingredients from area farmers and merchant. We've come to expect high-quality steaks, veal and seafood each time we walk through the door. Make sure to save room for one of Pastry Chef Mary Lou Semmelink's great desserts.

Moderate to expensive.

The classsy, sweeping, art-deco bar is simply one of the most comfortable in town. Martinis aplenty and a smattering of good wine.
