For the eighth straight year, October is Dining Month on OnMilwaukee.com, presented by Locavore, the newest restaurant at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino. All month, we're stuffed with restaurant reviews, delectable features, chef profiles and unique articles on everything food, as well as the winners of our "Best of Dining 2014."

The Wauwatosa location of Hue Vietnamese restaurant debuted at 6519 W. North Ave. on September 29.

This week, owner Mark Nielsen has announced, the restaurant will add lunch service to its offerings.

Hue has offered lunch at its Bay View location for the past few years, and Nielsen says popular items include noodle bowls and quicker items on weekdays, and larger more complex dishes on the weekends.

"On cold, rainy days like today," Nielsen says, "We’re selling a lot of pho."

For now, customers will have access to the entire regular menu; but Nielsen and Carina (Cat) Tran have also been considering creating a special lunch-only menu at some point.

"We’re looking at the possibility of a distinct lunch menu in the future – maybe something a bit more condensed, with some new items – but we haven’t settled on that yet," Nielsen says.

Hue is open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Takeout is available.
