East Wauwatosa continues to be a hot spot for new local businesses, and the newest addition to the corridor on West North Avenue is just proof of the pudding.

Indulgence Chocolatiers announced today that it will open a third retail location next spring at 6538 W. North Ave. in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The location was the former home of Not Just Nuts, which closed in August after the passing of its owner, Gary Garski.

The new Tosa location will offer not only Indulgence’s full line of confections, but also a line of ice cream produced by Walker’s Point’s Purple Door Ice Cream. Potential flavors  include chai ice cream with a pistachio cardamom truffle, whiskey ice cream topped with candied bacon and cocao nib praline crumble and classic vanilla ice cream with Indulgence sea salt chocolate sauce.

"For those who love sweets, it just doesn’t get any better than local artisan ice cream and local artisan chocolate served in the same bowl, each complementing the flavors of the other," says owner Julie Waterman.

Water man credits the vibrancy and unique character of East Tosa as being a good fit with the company’s brand and personality.  Waterman added that the City of Wauwatosa, and particularly Ald. Joel Tilleson, have been extremely helpful to Indulgence’s efforts to open a location in the city.

Both indoor and outdoor seating will be available at the Tosa location.
