The first Milwaukee area Jamba Juice location opens Oct. 1 at Mayfair Mall in Wauwatosa.

The publicly owned company has more than 800 locations operating in 26 states.  Yet, it only has two locations in Wisconsin, 401 State St. in Madison and 2001 Alford Park Dr. in Kenosha.

Jamba Juice alerted OnMilwaukee.com via Twitter and has job openings posted on Mayfair's site and Craigslist.

The new location will be on upper level at Mayfair Mall.
