You likely think of fish when you think of sitting down at a table at Serb Hall, 5101 W. Oklahoma Ave. But now, one of the many bars in the structure has been converted to Kafe International Internet Coffee House, which serves baked goods, Alterra coffee and other beverages. There is also free WiFi access.
The place still looks like a bar, although more brightly lit, and last night had a row of men watching sports on TV and chatting boisterously in Serbian. And there is a smoking section.
But soups are served and panini are coming soon, too, and with Alterra coffee and free WiFi perhaps a little scarce in the neighborhood, Kafe International will likely be a welcome addition to the area.
