Bartolotta’s Lake Park Bistro will celebrate its 20th anniversary on Sept. 28, and to commemorate such an important milestone, the restaurant will celebrate with nearly a dozen special events in the months leading up to it. Lake Park Bistro will welcome celebrity and guest chefs, acclaimed winemakers, Bistro alumni and guests both old and new.

Lake Park Bistro will kick things off on a high note when it welcomes four acclaimed winemakers in April for two special wine dinners.

The first dinner – to be held on Tuesday, April 21 – will welcome Vincent Avenel of Domaine Faiveley in Burgundy. The winery was founded in 1825 and has seen seven generations at its helm. Faiveley is known for its world-class chardonnays and pinot noirs, and chef de cuisine Miles Borghgraef will create a special menu to pair with them.

The second dinner – to be held the same week, on Friday, April 24 – is a "Tour de France" that will feature three renowned winemakers from three different regions of France.

Angeline Templier is the owner and winemaker of Champagne J. Lassalle in Reims, which is known for its balanced, full-bodied champagnes. Pierre de Benoist is director and winemaker for Domaine A. & P. Villaine in the Cote Chalonnaise region. This winery is known for its chardonnays and pinot noirs. And Daniel Brunier is owner and winemaker of Domaine du Vieux Telegraphe in Chateauneuf-du-Pape, which makes wonderful wines featuring syrah and grenache grapes. Chef Adam Siegel will create a five-course meal worthy of pairing with these incredible wines.

Space is limited at each dinner and reservations are required. Guests may reserve seats by calling the restaurant at (414) 962-6300.
