Germantown's Old Town Beer Hall at N116W15841 Main St., which has been closed for rennovation, will reopen on Friday, Sept. 4 with a bit of pomp and circumstance.

Beginning at 6 p.m., guests can get a sneak peek at the rennovations, which include new bench style seating, hand painted murals, signage, liter glassware and an authentic German menu.

During the celebration, guest can enjoy a free spanferkel (pig roast) buffet and celebratory keg-tapping, as well as live music by Peggy Mueller, the leader of Old Town Beer Hall's house band.

In addition, owners Chaz Hastings and Josh Neureuther will donate fifty cents to the American Red Cross with every lunch or dinner entree purchased at Old Town Beer Hall during the month of September.

"We want to give back to the American Red Cross since we back all of the great things they do." said Hastings. "We’d love to see people from all over come to our new full-sized, indoor beer hall to experience a truly authentic German place and support this cause."
