Need a good, authentic Italian pizza at home but don't have time or the skills or the inclination to make it yourself? Well, if you live in Tosa, Pizzeria Piccola, 7606 W. State St., can come to your rescue, now that it offers free delivery, Wednesday through Saturday.
In my house we're fans of Pizzeria Piccola -- although we still think that some kind of covering would make the patio friendlier on sizzling sunny days -- and we like going there. So, when I heard they added home delivery, I didn't pay much attention, at first.
But last night in an effort to have a quick and tasty dinner before heading over to our local park to see some live music, I gave it a try, ordering a pair of pizzas and a kids pasta at 4:45, knowing that we'd likely be the first delivery of the day when the driver clocked in at 5 (delivery stops at 9 p.m. and the minimum order is $15).
We barely had time to set the table before the food arrived nice and hot. My chicken sausage pizza was as tasty at my dining room table as it is upstairs at Pizzeria Piccola.

Know of any good pizza joints that still toss the dough? There used to be a place in town that did that and I enjoyed it as a kid.
