Red Lion Pub will open on Friday, Dec. 5 after renovating the former Brocach Irish Pub space, 1850 N. Water St.

The new menu will feature traditional British and American items including baked tomato soup topped with a grilled cheese sandwich, a pot roast sandwich, Shepherd's pie, ale-battered fish 'n' chips, cornish pastry, corn pudding and more.

Weekend brunch will also be available with bangers and eggs, breakfast poutine, a "Wimbledon Breakfast" and more.

Monday nights will feature two-for-one fish 'n' chips, Team Trivia on Tuesdays and viewing parties for European sporting events.
