As reported in an earlier brief, Alterra Prospect is in the midst of a major remodel. Recently, Alterra announced exactly what changes are underway.

Highlights of the remodel include expanded seating, a full café food menu, the conversion of the south end of the building to an "outdoor room" with skylights, new bathrooms, movable walls, partially silvered glass and a new skylight above the former roasting area.

"We’re really excited about the changes. The aim is to keep the aesthetics of the original space and maintain the same look and feel -- but better! One of the more noticeable differences will be the amount of natural light we’ll be bringing in," says Ramie Camera, projects and communications coordinator for Alterra.
