Oakland Trattoria is going SoLo

On Tuesday, Aug. 17, Oakland Trattoria will officially change its name to SoLo, which stands for "South of Locust."

The menu will stay the same, except a small-sized "solo" pizza will also be available. The restaurant was remodeled and includes new booths, wall adornments, lighting and exterior sign.

The casual Italian restaurant specializes in wood-fired pizzas, but pasta dishes, sandwiches, salads and a fish fry are also available.

Unless they're also doing work to improve the service at this joint, they may as well have changed the name to SoSlow.

Ah, a name change? This will be the death of Tratt. Might as well have called it Sho-Lo.

if they don't start hosting speed dating luncheons, they are doing themselves a tremendous disservice.
