SURG Restaurant Group, operator of HŌM Wood Fired Grill, decided not to extend the expiring lease of its Brookfield restaurant and will focus energy on Glendale location.

This Tuesday, May 31 will be the last day of business for the 17800 W Bluemound Rd. location of HŌM Wood Fired Grill.

"We are extremely proud of the food and service we offered in this location and plan to continue the tradition at our Glendale restaurant," said SURG Co-Owner/CEO Michael Polaski. "With the changing times, SURG has decided that this is an opportunity to focus on other areas and continue to improve our positions. "

"It’s bittersweet to close this restaurant, we are excited for new growth within SURG but sad to leave the many wonderful friends we have made in Brookfield over the past years," Co-Owner/President Omar Shaikh says. "We have been fortunate to build wonderful relationships with the people in this town and we hope everyone will come see us at our downtown & Glendale restaurants."

Shaikh also expressed his gratitude to the loyal and talented staff and has offered to help place them at other SURG locations if they wish to continue with the company.
