Monday, May 18 will mark the opening day for The Golden Anchor, a new restaurant opening at N26 W30227 Maple Ave. along Pewaukee Lake.

The new restaurant's menu will feature a variety of seafood dishes – including a Friday fish fry – in addition to steaks and sandwiches for both lunch and dinner. A bar and dockside lounge will also serve several types of themed and classic cocktails.

The Golden Anchor – formerly Dylon's Steakhouse – will serve as the eighth operating venue for Ride Entertainment Group and Chaz Hastings, who purchased this particular space in 2014. Their lineup now includes The Golden Anchor, Bottoms Up North, Bottoms Up South, Old Town Inn, Von Rothenburg Bier Stube, Madam Belles, Milwaukee Harley-Davidson and Tally Ho – with a ninth location, Bottoms Up West Allis, scheduled to open in late summer or early fall.

"The Golden Anchor menu is phenomenal, we have a great staff and the location couldn’t be more ideal," said Hastings, in a press release. "With our boat dock and lakeside dining room, we’re very excited for the summer to begin at The Golden Anchor."

The new restaurant will open for business at 11 a.m. on Monday, May 18. After then, the location will be open seven days a week from 11 until bar time (food will be served until 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 10 p.m. on weekends), accepting walk-ins and reservations.
