Yaffa, 106 W. Wells St., is open for lunch from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. beginning Tuesday, May 20.

To help kick off the new hours chef and owner John Chitko offers half-priced salads and $6 burgers -- with fries dusted with paprika and parmesan cheese and a soda -- from May 20 to 30.

Other lunch items include Yaffa's tasty schwarma sandwiches (lamb and chicken), a falafel sandwich, two signature salads and most of the appetizers available on the dinner menu.

Yaffa is located on the Riverwalk next to Butch's Clock Steakhouse.

Am I crazy or did Yaffa previously have lunch when it first opened? Good to hear they're adding it back, especially with such a great patio.
