Tulips nightly menu features lamb, chicken, seafood and beef entrees as well as appetizers such as grape leaves, hummus, calamari and phyllo dough cheese rolls. Brunch is presented with classic dishes like meat and veggie omelets, eggs Benedict and blueberry pancakes as well as specialty marinated short ribs, eggs over spicy tinga chicken and herb grilled salmon.

Tulip is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11-2 and dinner Monday through Thursday from 5-10 p.m. and Friday- Saturday from 5-11 p.m.

Brunch is served every Sunday from 9 a.m.-2 p.m. featuring specialty a drink menu.

To be quite honest, the food at Tulip leaves much to be desired. Not very good at all. Service was ok, but food bland and uninspired, and therefore overpriced. Will not go back.

A friend and I like trying different ethnic restaurants for lunch at least two or three times a year. Today was my turn to choose, and despite the previous reviews and comments, i also thought I would give this restaurant a shot particularly since it's new. I was very satisfied. as with the previous comments, the food is good, we get that. I think we got the luck of the draw, the service was wonderful. Our waitress was very nice and not too hovery yet would make sure my water glass did not go below the half full mark. The complementary bread with dipping oil was seasoned so well, and the bread was so soft and light, it was the perfect appetizer to our lunch. I had lamb shiskabob and my friend had the meat wrap, both came wtih soup AND salad, all were delicious. Sometimes this kind of cuisine comes too seasoned, but this was.....well.....perfect. The patio was great for a day like today, and the inside looks like it would be a perfect place for a romantic dinner. I already have plans to take 4 of my other adventurous friends out there for a lunch.

I had heard conflicting information on Tulip, wonderful food, but sub par service and decided to see for myself. Went for brunch to discover a unique atmostphere, that seemed to be lacking the Turkish flair I had expected. The food was fabulous, with great presentation and very unique flavors. But the service held true. The waiter did not ask what kind of toast I wanted, nor did he come back to check if I needed anything. There were very few people in the place and yet the staff seemed to be anywhere but available. Did not even receive a refill of water! I think it may be a while before I return, but it may not be entirely out of the question. Hopefully they can step up their game a little.

Tulip was refreshingly interesting. We went on a Wednesday night, when they have live jazz. The service was fantastic. We sat at the bar and ordered a few appetizers (hot meatballs-delicious!) and an entree. Try the Turkish beer (dark)--it is really interesting. The ambiance is really nice, including a fireplace with couches and a long bar with nice lighting. This place is perfect for parties of 2-12. Bathrooms are beautiful (apparently the owner also is a marble/granite craftsman). We were pleasantly surprised and impressed. Definitely will go back again!

I can't say enough about how much I LOVED this place. I had heard it was the newest best kept secret in Milwaukee's Third Ward, but had to try it for myself. Our service was efficient and friendly, the atmosphere was addicting, and the food was absolutely incredicle. I've never tasted lamb so juicy, tender, flavorful. I can't stop telling my friends about Tulip, and can't wait to go again!! Be sure to ask about the dessert, Koonefey (spelling??)
