1. Sheboygan, Johnsonville Sausage say 'nein' to Germany
Sheboygan-based Johnsonville Sausage LLC says it is "as much amused as it is surprised" that the European Union, in negotiating the terms of a new trade deal with the United States, is pushing to trademark several different foods - including bratwurst - that have originated in an EU country.
2. Is it the smell?
Why don't you cook more fish at home? It's Good Friday, so let's talk fish. Milwaukee's relationship with fish and, of course the fish fry, is unique and wonderful. I'm guessing here, but I bet we consume more fish than the average American.
