20. Something old, something new in latest dining trip
This month I wanted to get to at least a couple places I haven't been in the city, and one goal was to be somewhere on the Marquette University campus when something was happening basketball-wise. I not only did that, and followed it up by rediscovering an old favorite later in the evening.
21. Corner Bakery and The Malt Shoppe open soon in Tosa
The grand opening celebration of the Corner Bakery Cafe at The Mayfair Collection, 11500 W. Burleigh St. is set for 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 20. And, The Malt Shoppe also has announced its opening weekend activities in Tosa, too.
22. Hue Tosa now open for lunch
The Wauwatosa location of Hue Vietnamese restaurant debuted at 6519 W. North Ave. on Sept. 29. This week, owner Mark Nielsen has announced, the restaurant will add lunch service to its offerings.
