101. In search of the perfect pizza: Klasiana
Across from the south end of Southridge Mall is a strip mall where I noticed "PIZZA" in large red letters. I went in for a closer look and found the name "Klasiana" next to those letters. Ylli Proko started Klasiana over six years ago, and it the business has become a family effort with a diverse menu.

According to its website, the Third Ward Caffe, 225 E. St. Paul Ave., is now closed for good.

To kick off 2013, the BMO Harris Bradley Center has polished itself up and added some new food to the menu available at all events in the arena. We got a peek today.
107. Jake's Deli makes Grand entrance
Today, I gave the new Jake's a try, and you know what? The tiny storefront below the food court tastes exactly like Jake's. Which is awesome. I ordered a corned beef sandwich on rye with mustard for $8.24 and attempted to complement that with a bowl of matzo ball soup. Oddly, Jake's was out of matzo ball soup at 11:30 a.m., so I went with chips and an iced tea.
108. In search of the perfect pizza: Dom & Phil's DeMarini's
The DeMarini name has a long history in the Milwaukee-area pizza scene. On my visit to Dom & Phil's I met Phil's wife, Ann, who gave me some of the history of Dom & Phil's emergence to the entrepreneurs they are today.
109. Northerners get jambalaya right
One thing that can be a problem with jambalaya is that people get so intent on ratcheting up the kick they overwhelm the flavors. That's not the case at this new pub and grill.

110. Divino Wine and Dine now open
Divino Wine and Dine, 2315 N. Murray Ave., is now open for business.
111. In search of the perfect pizza: Papa Joe's
I've driven past Papa Joe's, 5601 W. Vliet St., several times while taking an alternate route to work. The building looked a bit like a dive on the outside, but that's never stopped me from patronizing businesses in the past and it wasn't going to stop me now. In fact, some of the best meals I've had have been in dives.
112. American Euros opens shop on Oakland Avenue
The cleverly named American Euros cart hit the streets of Milwaukee in July 2009, and has been going strong ever since. A brick and mortar shop opens today at 3133 N. Oakland Ave.
113. In search of the perfect pizza: Ned's
The first time I tried Ned's Pizza was around 20 years ago during a fantasy football draft party. I was a fan instantly, but I didn't live anywhere near their location so over time I forgot about Ned's. I was re-introduced when I bought my house and drove past it on my way to a friend's house. I remembered how much I enjoyed their thin crust and pizza sauce.

Divino Wine and Dine is the name of the new restaurant opening in the old Palermo Villa space, 2315 N. Murray Ave., said Dean Cannestra in an email.
115. In search of the perfect pizza: Leonardo's Pizza Parlor
I first noticed Leonardo's Pizza, 11051 N. Port Washington Rd., while visiting a nearby business. Located in a strip mall behind a building on Port Washington Road, it can be tricky to find if you don't know where to look. It seemed quiet when I visited early on a Monday evening, but business soon picked up.
116. Webb's cooks up three new burgers

119. In search of the perfect pizza: Benny's
My dad has a friend who owns a bar a few blocks south of Lincoln on 13th Street. When he is in town, I occasionally join him there for a beverage or two. On my way there, I've passed Benny's Pizza, 1102 W. Lincoln Ave. There were always customers there, so I figured it may be worth a visit.
120. Sanford changes hands
Sanford (Sandy) and Angie D'Amato sold their award-winning restaurant, Sanford, plus the family building in which it resides, to their Chef de Cuisine, Justin Aprahamian.

125. Palms Bistro to become Bourbon & Tunns Tavern
We've wondered what's going on at Palms Bistro, 221 N. Broadway, and finally, the owners announced there will be a name and concept change at the Third Ward bar and eatery.
