Cirque Italia – the first traveling water circus in the United States – will make a second splashdown in Milwaukee this summer, returning to the Italian Community Center the weekend of Friday, June 3 through Sunday, June 5.

The animal-free circus brings a mix of performers and events, combining traditional Italian circus acts with modern technology and showmanship. Some of the acts arriving under the blue and white big top tent next month include a contortionist, a singing stair-stacking balancing act, clowns and acrobats, aerial divas, highwire acts, jugglers, a massive dinosaur, a mermaid, a Laserman laser performance, a Jet ski act and more – all taking place in, around and above a 35,000-gallon water-tank stage.

The event begins Friday night at 7:30 p.m., with three shows a day – at 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. – on both Saturday and Sunday.

The box office opens on-site on Tuesday, May 31. On non-show days, the box office is open from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., while on show days, the box office stays open until 9 p.m. Tickets can also be purchased at Cirque Italia's website or over the phone by calling 941-704-8572.
