Take a stroll on the Milwaukee Museum Mile
Five of the city's art and culture museums have teamed up to form the Milwaukee Museum Mile and save visitors some money on their visits.
Centered on Milwaukee's East Side and along the lake, the Milwaukee Museum Mile joins the Charles Allis Art Museum, Jewish Museum Milwaukee, Museum of Wisconsin Art at St. John's on the Lake, North Point Lighthouse at Lake Park and Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum.
The union provides visitors an affordable and convenient way to access multiple museums in the Mile.
To celebrate the new collaboration, the museums are hosting a Milwaukee Museum Mile Kickoff Event Sunday, May 6 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Visitors to any or all five museums during the event can take advantage of free admission, docent-led tours, light refreshments, children's activities and a continuous shuttle bus to travel between locations.
More information about the Milwaukee Museum Mile can be found online at milwaukeemuseummile.org.
