Paul Newman, an iconic American actor, director, entrepreneur, humanitarian and auto racing enthusiast, died Friday at his home in Westport, Conn.
Newman, who had waged a long battle with cancer, was 83.
During his illustrious career, Newman won an Academy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Cannes Film Festival Award, an Emmy award and several humanitarian awards. His most famous films included "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "Cool Hand Luke," "The Sting," "The Verdict," "Hud," "The Hustler," "Nobody's Fool," "Slap Shot" and "The Color of Money."
In addition to being a successful race team owner, Newman was a co-founder of Newman's Own, a food company from which he donated all profits and royalties to charity.

His dressing was better than his movies... except Torn Curtain. Is that Quaker Oats guy still alive? His next project will be with Hitchcock, McQueen, and Fonda I guess...
