Former program director Mark Keefe left 88Nine Radio Milwaukee after 3 1/2 years of service. It is unclear whether the decision was made by Keefe or by station management.

The station's Stephen Kallao and Jordan Lee have been named to jointly manage programming while the station seeks a new permanent program director.

Kallao is also the station's imaging producer and afternoon talent and Lee is also the station's morning co-host.

"After helping get the station into a new, state-of-the-art studio complex and instituting a number of successful programming changes, I look forward to bringing my experiences here to new challenges," said Keefe.

Station executive director Mary Louise Mussoline said the station would retain its current format, an eclectic indie rock blend that includes hourly plays of Milwaukee music and short-form community stories.

"Mark was responsible for significantly improving our programming and format, bringing more energetic, professional and appealing elements to the station's sound," added Mussoline. "We greatly appreciate Mark's work to make RadioMilwaukee a stronger station and wish him the best."
