The Rep receives NEA Art Works grant
The National Endowment for the Arts has awarded the Milwaukee Repertory Theater an Art Works grant to support two productions this spring.
The Rep is recommended for a $30,000 grant from the NEA to help present Tony Award-winning play "Clybourne Park" and "A Raisin in the Sun."
These productions will conclude The Rep's 2012-13 season in the Quadracci Powerhouse.
Awarded by a panel of outside experts convened by NEA staff, the grant is part of a nationwide Art Works fund given to a total of 832 non-profit organizations across the country. The Milwaukee Repertory Theater was selected as one of these organizations out of 1,509 total eligible applications.
