Skylight Music Theatre presents Cinderella

Cendrillon. Cenerentola. Cinderella. No matter what she’s called, everyone knows her story - an innocent girl, wronged by her dysfunctional family, winds up marrying a handsome, kind prince. Rossini’s unique retelling of this fairy tale favorite pre-dates Disney’s version of a pumpkin stage coach and a glass slipper. Rossini’s twists are delightful in this enchanting romantic comedy. A score of brisk, playful music, beautiful sets and stunning gowns by NYC fashion designer César Galindo will make all your wishes come true!

An enchanting musical fable, Once On This Island tells the story of forbidden love between two people from different worlds. Originally inspired by The Little Mermaid and Romeo & Juliet, this award-winning musical is set on an island in the French Antilles where social prejudices run deep and Caribbean music plays hot. Dazzling choreography, lush ballads and rousing choral numbers are certain to provide much needed warmth in the midst of a long, cold winter!
