No Sinner at the Cedarburg Cultural Center

The Center will be transformed with the sale of standing room only tickets, in addition to traditional seating, when raucous blues/rock band, NO SINNER, from Vancouver, Canada stops in Cedarburg on their North American tour, aptly named “Save Your Soul,” while promoting their national debut album entitled “Boo Hoo Hoo.” “Think of the soul of Joss Stone and Etta James, and Beth Hurt’s growling blues rock raunch, with retro power Vintage Trouble and the rasping rockabilly of Imelda May. Add to the mix, Alabama Shakes, and stir.” -Blues & Soul No Sinner, led by 26-year-old Colleen Rennison is a force of nature, a post-modern soul belter and queen of rock. A hard-singing, hard-loving, hard-drinking, hard-working throwback to those she and the guys grew up listening to, including Nina Simone, Tina Turner, Rolling Stones and Bessie Smith.

I'm Not a Pilot Concert

Friday, October 17 @7:30pm Doors Open 6:45pm This is perhaps how it would sound if you split your chest open and let your feelings ooze out in a river of hot molten lava. The bold and mellow waxing of the cello gives the sound a richness unlike most rock bands.” - Milwaukee Magazine I'm Not a Pilot appeals to an impressively diverse fan base of young and old with their blend of classical and rock music. Perhaps that’s what happens when a band does a mash-up of a Radiohead hit single and Johann Sebastian Bach’s “Prelude to Solo Cello Suite No. 1 in G Major” as they do on their cover of “Creep.” Mark Glatzel is the pilot on vocals and piano, Peter Thomas, cellist for the Milwaukee Symphony, plays the electric cello, Steve Vorass is on the drums, and Adrian Esguerra plays bass guitar and backs up on vocals. Voted Best Rock Band 2010 and 2011 in Milwaukee’s Shepherd Express Weekly and Best Rock Band 2010 at WYMS 88.9fm Radio Milwaukee’s Independent Music Awards. At the Wisconsin Area Music Awards 2012 cellist Peter Thomas walked away with Best String Player Award following his contribution to Sean "Puff Daddy” Combs’ Oscar-Winning documentary, “Undefeated”. Call the CCC at 262-375-3676 for more info!
