Send Off Summer with Story Time and Kohlís Art Generation
On Saturday, August 30, send summer off with a fun tale of art and imagination as Kohl's Art Generation presents Story Time in Galleries at Milwaukee Art Museum. Kids have the opportunity to hear a story that relates to a work of art in the galleries and then make a drawing inspired by what theyíve seen and heard. This week's Story Time book selection is Meet Me at the Art Museum by David Goldin.

School starts September 2, so get your family out for some fun for the last weekend of summer! On August 30 and 31, stop by the Kohl’s Art Generation Studio at the Milwaukee Art Museum for their Open Studio to create art inspired by the artwork in the Museum's Collection and exhibitions. This month’s theme is abstract art. The Kohl’s Art Generation Studio is a hands-on art studio that features a variety of activities and art projects, with new projects each month. Children and families can choose to stop in for a few minutes or spend an entire day creating art together. Kohl’s Art Generation Studio is open to the public on Saturdays and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
