Acting Classes
No matter where we work, or what we do, the need to feel expressive is universal. This applies to all walks of life and to all cultures. The path to creative imagination, even inspiration, is lined with good, sensible, structured stepping stones of craft. Every human being has infinitely more capacity to live imaginatively than our usual habits permits. It is craft that allows our imaginations to flourish. Over the course of 6 weeks, participants will learn what is means to be an actor. Improvisations and short scenes will be used to explore the world of acting and share some joy in the process. Introduction to Screen Printing

Coptic Binding
Coptic binding is one of the world’s oldest binding methods and uses signatures to create an exposed spine. It is a favorite among many book artists. Coptic sewing methods can be adapted to create visually stunning spines. In this course, students will create a simple Coptic bound book with hardcovers. Mixed Media Workshop w/John Kowalczyk
Kowalczyk is interested in the hierarchy of painting and the similarities between decorative and conceptual painting. Fabrics, handmade papers, repurposed prints, and ribbons are some of the collage elements that create the layers within the work, the materials are kitsch in nature but transcend themselves when placed in their high art context. Instructor: John Kowalczyk.The class is for the age group 18+. The class size has a minimum requirement of five members and a maximum requirement of ten. It costs $40.00 for a non member and $36.00 for members.
