Something has changed since the comment written in 2008, I went to the Rosebud with a group of friends, we found the theater to be filthy, not dirty, filthy with popcorn on the couches as well as the floor, and the couches had a sheen that made me think we were in some NY adult theater. Once we brushed other peoples mess from some couches and got past the sheen we were greeted with a worn out uncomfortable seat with very little leg room. We ordered beer and found the bottled beer to be for the most part warm. The screen size is average at best and the sound was just ok. At $10 a person we all felt the experience was a poor experience.

I think the Rosebud is one of the best places to catch a movie in Milwaukee. The couches are more comfortable than even the best stadium seating. The food is pretty good and having draft beer is even better. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to see a movie in an atmosphere that is a bit more personal than the "big business" cinema establishments.
