Instructor/Artist Becky Manteufel Patronus, or spirit animal, is a guardian which takes the shape of the animal that you share a deep affinity with. Sculpt your variation of the patronus animal that protects you from the Dementors. These sculptures will be dipped in white glaze after bisque firing for you to enjoy in your garden to protect your home. Kids Art Week 5: August 4 – 8, Monday – Friday Summer Art Camp: Sci-Fi and Fantasy: May the Art Force be with You 9:00 am – 4:00 pm / Ages 7–13 1 Week August 3 – 7 “Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads…” Jump on your Millenium Falcon and voyage through the interplanetary interstate to a galaxy far, far away…to discover a world of fantasy and science fiction. Take the plunge to explore different planets, create celestial cosmos and a make magnificent Martians as you draw, paint, sculpt and collage your way through this week of art adventures in space! Uncover a vast and varied universe that exists only in your imagination. You won’t even need to phone home, E.T.! Space cadets welcome. Parents and Family members are invited to the student’s Groovy Galaxy Gallery Night, on Friday at 4:00 pm...the annual way to celebrate the end of this week’s art journey.
