Wet Felt Laminate (Nuno) Scarf…with a Twist! Tuesdays, 5:30 – 9:00 pm 1 Day, June 18 Instructor/Artist: Jan Falk Learn the technique of laminate or nuno felt using a plain colored silk scarf, but add a piece of silk print to extend the end. You will choose a silk print, baste it onto a solid dyed silk chiffon scarf and use wisps of merino wool , wet felting them very gently together creating pattern and added texture. Your scarf will have color, texture, and an added punch of a unique silk print. Participants must have some physical endurance for this class. Please bring: a sponge, an old bath towel, & produce size plastic bag. The instructor will provide hand-dyed silk scarves, pieces of silk prints, merino wool, soap, bubble wrap, netting, and other felting tools and materials. $36 Members $42 Non-Members ($12 supply fee included)
