Event Description

Tai Chi Chi Chuan is the ancient Chinese martial art of health, self-defense, and well-being. It is a traditional Chinese art, which has been practiced in China for hundreds of years as a way to soothe the mind and strengthen the body.

It can be done by people of any age and the principles contained within the movements can be applied to create harmony in our daily lives. In this class you will learn to combine balance, coordination and breathing with harmonious movements as a way to renew and invigorate your body, mind, and spirit. The class will focus upon the more physically energetic aspects of the Chen style with particular emphasis on developing the attributes of strength, flexibility, endurance, and power as applied to the practice of the Chen style form. As students progress more advanced forms will be taught which incorporate the movements of the straight sword and the broadsword.

Drop In Rate $12 or purchase an 8 pack for $88.
