Event Description

Broad Vocabulary is the proud host of UWM's "Gender and Leadership: a Summer Book Club for Educators," with professor Audrey Dentith.

Looking for an interesting alternative to earn approved graduate credits? Are you interested in learning about the lives of women from around the world? This course uses novels, film, and articles to explore issues of gender, race, ethnicity, and religion. Class participants will read, reflect, and share insights on the relationships of power and gender through a study of fiction and social theory.

This is a credit-earning course (1-3 grad credits) and pre-registration is required. To enroll, please contact UWM Education Outreach at 414-229-4728 or educout@uwm.edu.

Please call 414.744.8384, email  info@broadvocabulary.com, or visit our website through the link above for more information.
