Event Description The Urban Ecology Center (UEC) will host a children’s international art exhibit, featuring student artwork related to cranes and their habitats, beginning this month. The opening reception for the exhibit is Sunday, Oct. 5 from 2-4pm at the UEC’s Riverside Park location, 1500 E. Park Place in Milwaukee. The exhibit, titled Three White Cranes, Two Flyways, One World, showcases 200 pieces of artwork created by students from Milwaukee, China and Russia. The art exhibition culminates from the International Crane Foundation’s (ICF) education program that links teachers and students in Milwaukee along the crane flyway for the two North American crane species with their counterparts along the crane flyway in East Asia. The exhibition, open to the public, will run through late December. Admission is free but donations are appreciated. For more information, call the UEC at (414) 964-8505. | |||||||||||
