We already gave you 10 ideas to find relief from the heat wave that's overtaken the Milwaukee area. Now the Milwaukee Public Museum adds another.

It's a Sendik's Red Bag Weekend at MPM, which means you can get $10 admission – normally $17 for adults, $12 for kids 5-13 and $14 for seniors, college students and active military – on Saturday and Sunday. As always, kids four and under are free.

In addition to reduced admission prices, show your red bag in the Museum Marketplace gift shop, the Haymarket Candy Store in the Streets of Old Milwaukee and the concession stand in the Dome Theater, and you'll get 10 percent off your purchase. If you're an MPM member, you'll get five percent off on top of your usual member discount. Full details are on the MPM website.

So head to the blissfully air conditioned museum with your grocery bag and spend the day with Granny, the rattlesnake, the dinosaurs and all your other favorite exhibits.
