The popular musical "Annie" is coming to the Marcus Center for a one-week engagement, from Mar. 28 through April 2.

The hopeful tale about a red-headed orphan stars Conrad John Schuck as Daddy Warbucks, Mackenzie Phillips as Lily St. Regis and Marissa McDonnell as Annie.

Boasting one of Broadway's most recognized scores, the musical features "It's the Hard-Knock Life," "Easy Street," "N.Y.C." and the ever optimistic "Tomorrow."

The original Broadway production won seven 1977 Tony Awards, including Best Musical, Book and Score. It ran for 2,377 performances and has subsequently been produced in all over the world. The original production is one of the top 20 longest running shows in Broadway history.

Performance dates are Tuesday, Mar. 28 through Sunday, April 2 at the Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, 929 N. Water St. Show times are Tuesday through Thursday at 7:30 p.m.; Friday at 8 p.m.; Saturday at 2 p.m. and 8 p.m.; and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
