This little guy has it all.
Don weighs less than 15 pounds but what he lacks in size, he makes up for in personality. He loves to play with small toys and run around in circles. Literally, in circles. Yet, he's well-behaved on a leash, very gentle with people, enjoys being held and loves to be brushed and cuddled.
When you first meet Don, you'll no doubt notice his quirky fur. Silver streaks run through his curly black hair, and you may detect a mohawk. He could be your little punk rock dog. Maybe a little styling gel? (We're just kidding about that part.)
Because of his size, Don could adjust really well to city living. He doesn't need acres to run around in, however, he definitely requires daily walks to work out his energy.
This 3-year-old Miniature Schnauzer/Cairn Terrier mix would do best in a home without children. He has a few food issues to work out and would love a caring, patient guardian willing to help him with proper manners at the dinner table. He came to the Wisconsin Humane Society as a stray, so his history is unknown. But in the right home, his future will be bright!
The adoption fee for Don, and all dogs at the Wisconsin Humane Society, covers spay/neuter surgery, microchip identification, a health exam, initial vaccinations and heartworm tests. He also comes with one month free health insurance.
