Loki is an athletic dog with a gorgeous brindle coat and a healthy physique. He has a fantastic smile that will make you laugh everyday and a remarkably happy demeanor that is a joy to be around. Want to go for a walk? Play Frisbee? Take a boat ride? Loki will be up for it! This 2-year-old boxer/shepherd mix is truly the life of the party.
He loves to run simply for the sheer joy of running but playing a good game of fetch will satisfy him, too. He's a terrific retriever and quite agile. Loki is a smart, confident dog and ready to meet new people, to learn new tricks, and to bond with a loving guardian.
Like all of the dogs at the Wisconsin Humane Society, Loki has been microchipped, vaccinated and sterilized. Every dog also comes with one free month of health insurance. If you're interested in adopting Loki or meeting any of the other great dogs, go to at www.wihumane.org to learn about adoption process and fees.
If you love Loki's picture above, you won't want to miss the more than 500 pet photos in the 2008 WHS Calendar -- available now! All the photographs submitted by the public are included somewhere in the calendar. It's a beautiful layout and would make a great gift for any animal lover. WHS even offers a bulk rate to individuals -- or companies -- interested in stocking up for holiday gifts. Get yours now because quantities are limited.
Purchase the calendar online or at the Animal Antics retail store at the Wisconsin Humane Society. Only $11.95 for one, $9.95 each for two! All proceeds benefit animals like Loki at the shelter.
