Crocs. Ugh. |

Three summers ago, I saw the rubber clogs with holes in them for the first time, and I thought they looked comfortable, so I bought a pair. And then I bought another pair. By the following summer, my entire family had a pair of Crocs. We were officially Crocs dorks.
Now, it's time for reform.
I am not claiming to be the maven of footwear, and I am certainly not the first person to say this, but I think it's time to terminate Crocs -- and Crocs knock-offs -- for good. We are going to look back at this era and laugh that we actually wore these.
Fashionistas have condemned them for years, and I agree it's time to put Crocs where they belong: in the same outdated category as hair scrunchies and wind pants.
Agree?

The wearing of Crocs has nothing to do with masculinity--they are ugly. What many people must not realize is there are shoes out there that are comfortable AND stylish. You don't have to sacrifice one for the other. Try a pair of Born or even Clarks. They are great if you are a nurse or wearing them around the house/yard. Any other time and you will be laughed at--and for god sake stop wearing sandals, crocs, and the like with socks!

I always have women comment to me that only a real man who is comfortable with his manhood can pull off the croc/clog look like I do. I'll keep wearin' them, even in winter with a thick pair of cotton socks.

They are cute on little kids, and that's about it. The fact that they were introduced for a specific profession tells you they are not really fashion forward. I mean, the black orthopedic type shoes that cooks have to wear I'm sure are very comfortable but I'm not about to run out and buy a pair!

NO WAY! I love my crocs and have to honestly say that I couldn't care less if people like how they look! They were 1st introduced to the medical profession for their comfort and ease of cleaning...I work retail for long hours and my feet thank me when I come home and put them on!
