Share your favorite celebrity photo

Most of my favorite photos are with family and friends, but many of the really fun ones are with celebrities.

Admit it, you also love to get your photo snapped with "famous" people.

From politicians to actresses/actors and, of course, sports stars, famous photo opportunities are usually pretty easy to snap and, as I said, fun.

My favorites? To name a few, President Bush (both), Jack Kemp, Mark Cuban, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Chauncey Billups and, of course, "The Fonz."

COA at Bayshore

COA, a Mexican eatery at Bayshore Town Center (5750 N. Port Washington Rd.), will close its doors on June 30.

Folk made in Milwaukee

As part of "The Avant Garde Coffee House Project" exhibit currently on view, there`s a glass-topped case with some posters and a record. It`s a pretty nondescript thing, frankly, with a black and white photo and some not especially artful text. But that little record - "Blues, Rags and Hollers," by folk blues trio Koerner, Ray & Glover - made a big bang when it was released in June 1963. And it was made in Milwaukee.

Creepy smiley face

The smiley face. It`s a universal symbol of happiness. At least it should be. But when you find one spray painted along Milwaukee`s Riverwalk, it`s meaning changes.

Bush Library

Five presidents, four white males and one African-American. No women, obviously. Lots of history and important events connected to each of their administrations.
