Milwaukee gets less "manly"
Hmmm. OK. Here's today's list for you.
Milwaukee fell 11 spots to the No. 19 manliest city in the U.S., according to a poll released on Tuesday by Bert Sperling and Combos pretzel snacks.
The study measured city data, including the number of home improvement stores, steak houses and motorcycles per capita. Oklahoma City, on the eve of its first NBA Finals, is ranked No. 1.
The Top 5 include No. 2 Columbia, S.C.; No. 3 Memphis, Tenn.; No. 4 Nashville, Tenn. (last year's "Manliest City"); and No. 5 Birmingham, Ala.
I can't really analyze this (nor do I really care a ton about it) since I don't have current numbers in front of me, so take it as you will.
For what it's worth, San Diego is the "least manly" coming in at No. 50.

San Diego in proximity to the largest concentration of U.S. Navy and Marine Corps members can hardly be the least "manly" city in America. Or??

Since when are we concerned about what a poll conducted by "Combos pretzel snacks" has to say? I am a man and I am proud to say that I wear pink shirts sometimes. After all, it made Homer Simpson a "free thinking anarchist" once. Milwaukee, your insecurity is showing.
