Did McDonald’s just come up with the greatest Black Friday promotion of all time? Quite possibly.

On Friday, Nov. 24, when your stomach is finally maybe ready for a snack after the Thanksgiving feast, from 10 a.m. to noon, a random McDonald’s in southeastern Wisconsin will give out a $100 Visa gift card to a random guest every 10 minutes.

This promotion has everything. For starters, intrigue. Which McDonald’s location can I get the gift card at? I am genuinely curious – and willing to drive to multiple locations to find the right set of Golden Arches. And at the end of those golden rainbows, of course, there is also a great prize. A $100 Visa gift card would mean my Christmas shopping could be done without putting a dent in my bank account. And finally, this promotion is perfect because my McMuffin-addled brain is dumb enough to think I can beat the system. Think about it: I can easily go to multiple McDonald’s, get something off the dollar menu at each and then, if I get the gift card, I will have spent maybe $10 for a return of $100. I’m not a math guy, but I think they call those big-money margins.

Oh, and any drive-thru guest at this secret McDonald's location will also get a free Peppermint Mocha card.

So, take a break from storming the local Best Buy for sales and stomping all over the poor schmoes in your way, stop at a McDonald's and maybe actually make some money instead of spending it this Black Friday.
