There's still a few months left to achieve 'em, Milwaukee!

Social Circle: Did you make 2012 resolutions and if so, have you achieved them?

Welcome to a weekly segment called "Social Circle." It's a group effort between readers, social networkers and the OnMilwaukee.com editors. Every Monday, we ask a question via Facebook and Twitter and then post the responses from our Facebook "likers" and Twitter followers in this column. Well-known Milwaukee movers and shakers will contribute, too.

Well, 2012 is almost three-quarters of the year over, so the "now or never" reality of New Year's resolutions made months ago is setting in.

OnMilwaukee.com decided to check in with the Social Circle to see if anyone had actually executed their resolutions and it turns out, some did, some still plan to and some completely bagged them.

How about you? Did you achieve your resolutions? Do you still hope to? Or have you pushed 'em back to 2013? 2014? 2047?

Maragret Bacik: "Mine was trusting my gut. So far, so good."

Matt Edwards: "Epic fail. End of story."

Michelle Fetherston: "Stop drinking soda, after making it six months I decided to allow myself an occasional root beer (maybe one or two a week, tops), but other than that I am happily soda-free!"

Stephanie Halfmann: "Been gravitating toward very attainable resolutions, so one of mine this year was to bike to work at least once (thinking if I did it once, I'll do it more) it has definitely worked!"

Erin Shea Linnane: "Mine was to home school and we start on Sept. 4."

Tom Loblaw: "To only read OnMilwaukee after six beers deep. I'lm succeedsing so fare3."

Tom Martin: "Mine was to go to bed earlier but I am usually up way too late."

Jessica McCormick: "I made a simple one: Make 2012 better than 2011. We've had a fabulous summer, so I say 'yes!'"

Michele Berg Pavlovic: "To do a triathlon. No. Tore my ACL in January and had surgery in April. But I will do a duathlon before the year ends."

Rick Phelps: "Mine was to buy me whatever I want and so far, so good."

Renee Scherck-Meyer: "My resolution was to try new workouts, and yes I have."

Greg Sobanski: "Mine was not to have premarital sex. Success. I've been married for 12 years."

Caitlin Zhenotdal: "My resolution is the same every year: to live my life every day in a way that works for me and is in my personal best interest so I don't have to make resolutions every year. I am getting closer to living the best life for me, to finding my true North, but there are still aspects that need tweaking. I also need to floss my teeth more, so maybe I should make a more concrete resolution in 2013. We'll see."
