Red Arrow Park's Slice of Ice rink, 920 N. Water St., opens Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. for its 10th festive season of Downtown skating.
The rink is open Monday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sundays, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Skate rental is $6 per pair, but -- of course -- skating is free if you bring your own skates. Ice skate sharpening also is available.
The rink should stay open through at least mid-March, and it's also open Thanksgiving Day from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
