We're not gonna suggest that summer is almost over, because it's not. (Just ignore all the back-to-school supplies and even Halloween stuff already in some stores.) There's plenty of sun fun left to soak up. But we will say that there's been a lot of summer already underway and so OnMilwaukee.com asked the Social Circle what's been the high point, so far.

Responses ranged from the opening Estabrook Beer Garden to multiple votes for the Foo Fighters concert at Summerfest. What was your favorite summer moment so far, Milwaukee?

Emily Ann: "Aerosmith at Summerfest!"

Sarah M. Barse: "My air conditioner hasn't broken from overuse."

Paul N. Chmielewski: "My son leaving for Marine Corp boot camp."

Jill Engel: "Getting married to the guy who I have known since I was 12. All the way back in Nebraska."

Lynn Guerrero: "Foo Fighters at Summerfest. Too awesome for words."

Eileen Harnett Teska: "The birth today of Baby Brother. They went to the hospital at 1 a.m. and expect word any minute he has arrived."

Young Kin: "16 hours in the car with my family."

Sue Knight: "Swimming at McKinley beach all day on July 3rd with my kids while waiting for the fireworks. It was a rare Wisconsin night, so warm that we could swim in Lake Michigan at sunset, watch the full moon rise and relax in the sand watching fireworks."

Shea Schachameyer: Jumping wave at Big Bay Park, watching a few dudes surf there at the same time and then drying out in the sun on the rocks."

Rima Shah: "Jam packed night at Summerfest. Rode the motorcycle, broke down, not a minute later, hopped on the bus heading Downtown. Saw a killer New Orleans band, a little David Gray and ended the night with Ziggy Marley. Warm balmy night, stars, dancing our hearts open. Ziggy sang about love, freedom and peace. A One Love night."
