Besides food and writing, one of my other huge passions is Bay View, and with the holidays upon us, I thought it was a great time to share just a few ideas to get you started shopping locally-owned businesses for the holidays:

Feels like other parts of Bayview and KK have been neglected! Sheesh!!! Gift certificates to a play at the Boulevard Theater Get your violin repaired (or the gift of music) at Korinthian Violins A gift certificate to Salon Thor (a hair salon on KK-near the corner of KK and Oklahoma). Wonderful service and fantastic prices! A pound of coffee from Anodyne (or Sven's) Gift certificates to Classic Slice and Tenuta's Trial membership at the Shape Up Shoppe or Brickyard Gym to work off all that pie....
