Drive Thru Valentine shop opens at State Fair Park

In case you missed the memo, Valentine's Day is Sunday.

If you're pressed for time and need a dozen roses and a box of chocolates for your sweetheart, Locker's Florist can hook you up at State Fair Park.

As we first reported last month, Locker's is selling roses and chocolates at a drive-thru setup in the parking lot at State Fair Park.

The operation began yesterday and was drawing steady business this morning. The drive-thru will be open until 7 tonight and Saturday and until 6 p.m. Sunday. It opens at 9 a.m.

Check out Channel 12's story on the event here.

Super! I'll go there after I drop off all my extra gold at the "Cash for Gold" drive-thru!

This is a good idea. I heard about something called a Valentine Vendor Fair. The flyer says it is tomorrow (Saturday, from 1:00-4:00), at the clubhouse at Whitnall Edge Condos in Franklin. That is located off of Hwy. 100 just south of College Avenue. Apparently they are selling stuffed bears, women's clothing, candles and chocolates. Flyer says everything is Cash & Carry - I bet the prices will be reasonable. That's where I'm going tomorrow because I'm a procrastinator. Happy Valentines Day to everyone.
