There is nothing better than a cozy sweater on a crisp fall day. Knitwear is not only comfortable but it is also super on trend for this season – and there are so many ways to wear it. From work to happy hour, brunch to a casual dress weekend wear, whatever your plans, a sweater is a perfect way to stay cozy and chic.

1. Workwear

I don't know about you, but my office is always FREEZING! So a sweater is a must for me. But you don't want the look to look too casual in a work environment. Paired with a bordeaux skirt, leopard heels and a structured bag makes this look perfect for the boardroom.

2. Brunch with the girls

Brunch with my girlfriends is always my fave part of the weekend. It's a great way to catch up with everyone all while enjoying bottomless mimosas and some variation of avocado toast. I always want to look chic and stylish at brunch, because you never know when an Instagram opportunity will pop up (what can I say, it's the blogger in me that makes me think that way). So my perfect brunch outfit would have to be a cute grey ruffled sweater with pale pink wide leg pants. Style this with a pale pink clutch and white booties. Yes, I know it's after Labor Day, but white boots are on trend this season, so embrace it people.

3. Happy Hour

This could be a cute date night look as well, but for a single gal like myself, my mind thinks more about happy hour than a date (lol). But an oversized cozy sweater is a great option to wear as a dress with over the knee boots. To create a waist definition, add a belt, pull one side off the shoulder and grab a fabulous bag. Now if you're tall like me, sometimes sweaters can't be rocked as a dress, but this look can totally be worn with leather leggings as well.

4. Casual weekend

Sometimes you need to have a casual weekend and run some errands aka aimlessly walk around Target and spend hundreds of dollars on stuff you don't need. For this type for weekend, boyfriend jeans are a must! Pair them with a great cozy sweater with some lace up detailing, booties (or sneakers if you want to be ultra casual) and a cute hat – 'cause let's be real, I'm not doing my hair for a Target run. This look is casual and chic – which, to me, makes for the perfect outfit.
