Clai Green and Ron Krinn of Fred Boutique and Red Heel shoe store, 524 and 522 N. Water St., are known for their hip little Downtown spots, but now they will expand their reach a bit.
Green says a second Fred location will open in Shorewood at 4405 N. Oakland Ave. The boutique will be similar to the Downtown locale -- carrying stylish and seasonable women's wear at affordable prices -- and will also keep late business hours, host martini nights and offer shopping parties.
With the second store to focus on, Green says their men's boutique, JET, won't be open until 2009.
